LAS VEGAS, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VendingData(TM) Corporation (Amex: VNX - News), announced today that it has received approval from Gaming Laboratories International ("GLI") for its RandomPlus(TM) shuffler, the Company's next generation version to its multi-deck Random Ejection(TM) shuffler in the following jurisdictions: California (tribal), Arizona (tribal), Washington (state & tribal). Approval for the GLI jurisdictions, such as Indiana (state), Iowa (state & tribal), Minnesota (tribal), Missouri (state), and Wisconsin (tribal), will be received within ten business days.

RandomPlus(TM), a high-speed card shuffler designed for use with one to eight card decks, is more user-friendly and easier to install than the predecessor version and is twice as fast, capable of shuffling eight decks of cards in four minutes. This new generation shuffler uses 60 percent fewer moving parts and has been converted to DC power, thereby eliminating heat and solenoid life problems. The RandomPlus(TM) requires less maintenance than traditional shufflers, is adjustable for varying card types and more tolerant of environmental changes. New sensors and usability enhancements have also been added to create easier operation, greater reliability and more accurate reads. A display screen has been added to send performance messages to operators.

VendingData(TM) has received initial orders for its RandomPlus(TM) for over 300 units. The Company expects to begin shipment immediately with revenues to be recognized during the Company's fourth quarter.
