Zeev, Saddam has had his chances. It is too difficult and too expensive to move forces around the world to pick and choose when wars will be fought.

This was not supposed to be a scavenger hunt. Iraq was on notice to turn over their WMDs. They haven't done so. Our forces are in place.

There are always going to be unintended consequences. That is an unfortunate byproduct of war. One intended consequence will be that al Qaida forces will no longer find Iraq a safe harbor. Another will be that Israel will no longer be a short range missile shot away.

We have had several hundred years for democratization to take hold, it is wishful thinking to believe that it can be done through peaceful processes. There is only one way to remove the Bath Party...by force.
