#18761 RE: Stocksgreen #18753

Finally somebody who gets it.

I looked at all the information and much of it was obvious. Apple couldn't use Liquidmetal in the iPhone 5 for "obvious" reasons. The machines are not ready to reliably churn out 150 million units per year. Apple makes over $300 per unit. If you multiply $300 by 150 million, that number equals $45 billion. Do you really think Apple would risk that (just so they can use an alloy owned by a $45 million dollar company! They will not risk it until there is an absence of risk. That may take two more years.

I have told myself that I will hold this for two more years. I do believe these partnerships will lead to some deals and hopefully we will be above $1 per share BEFORE Apple decides to use us or not. If they use us, we will jump. Liquidmetal may be a very large technological trump card to be used when it becomes more difficult to compete on specs alone.

The thing you don't see me doing is complaining about management or blaming them. Think of our economy.. A lot of people blame our current president because it hasn't improved very quickly. Think about this for a minute. America was pushed to the brink of a DEPRESSION and suffered the worst recession in 80 years. It takes time to heal. Well this company would be an accurate comparison. We have a couple huge band aids (Materion and Apple) which will hopefully help us from going into the Dark Ages.. We can either sit here complaining or we can attempt to identify whether or not this may be a tremendous opportunity.
