I am 57 years old and have never operated a computer until I purchased one in August of this year.This cd has amazed me in how easy it is to learn about the internet. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Must CD for Internet Beginners, November 29, 1998 By A Customer This review is from: Around the Web in 80 Minutes (CD-ROM) This interactive training program teaches at your own pace how to effectively use all aspects of the WWW. The system is fully contained and does not require the user to actually log on to the WWW. All screens and audio are reproduced so you have the full effect as your learn. I would gauge the appropriate age levels to be 9 yrs to 75+ years old. Anybody who has purchased a PC and is trying to learn responsible use of the WWW should consider this program.
The system allows multiple "students" (e.g an entire family can use the system separately) and each student progresses at their own pace. The audio/video is very good and the user interaction does not require advanced PC knowledge. I have been an internet user for more than 5 years and still find content in the system that is new. I was very surprised at how little I actually knew and I surf everyday! I learned better and different ways of using the web. This should be loaded on all new PC's.
