He didn't say audited fins were too much work. He said the expenditure of $50K could be put to better use right now.

But never have I heard a CEO say the reporting process is too much work therefore I am not going to do it.

Maybe he's not motivated to do it because according to this press release from Feb 2011, he's doing everything he needs to already.
