I have seen good seasoned Fortune 500 CEO's take their shot in the pinks with a new start up. Its tough and even they struggle despite their best efforts and good decisions to do what is right by their shareholders.

Nothing is easy in the pinks but every now and then 1 will make it to a national exchange. But never have I heard a CEO say the reporting process is too much work therefore I am not going to do it.

It's absolutely insane and goes against the standards of transparency and a CEO's fiduciary responsibility to his shareholders. Brian doesn't have to be perfect because his company is in the pinks but he does have to try.
