There may be alot of trading pre-announcement that may drop the price to that level, your sell order gets executed, then the stock may quickly resume to 28-31 just prior to the announcement. 2 1/2 hours of pre-announcement trading to screw yourself.
I don't think you'll see much of a drop. Right now the stock is priced as nothing with aapl with the upcoming product release. If there is nothing I think the stock stays as-is. If there is, the stock rockets quickly and see $3/sh. The question is could both companies keep it this quite for this long without it leaking? idk- but highly unlikely. I do find it strange that the rumors originated from Korea.... suspicious indeed.
