So with an Argus and one of these the Nigerian government (or any other developing nation) could do drone strikes at 131 miles (125 +2--the Argus has to retain fuel for the return trip). Argus also gives indefinite loiter possibilities if the weather is right. Now you are thinking, R! VR, Indy.

I was wrong, Renaissance. 6 miles would be for a ground level hand launch. Procerus flight control has a glide capability where it stops its prop to conserve energy. If you mimicked that in the LMAMS electronic module and dropped from an Argus at altitude you could probably add at least 10 miles or more to the range. Design a bigger cousin to this and you could strike at 25 miles IMO.

150 miles from a strike base gives you strike capability in over 70,000 square miles--you do the math (pi x R2)! That is why we should talk capabilities and not products IMO. Good discussion, thank you! Indy.
