Dazer in ONLY safe from a meter out IF adjusted properly. The user MUST have it adjusted to the right setting to be safe. The point is the Dazer user has to be able to calculate the distance of the person to know where it shoud be adjusted. If there is confusion, a scuffle or other issues that cause the user to loose capacity to think the process thru he can easily have the beam misadjusted. All it takes is once and there is a good chance of damage the eyes. A fixed beam is simple and safer because the user doesn't have to use two hands to operate. He does not have to consider the distance/focus factor. He knows the range it can safely be used. If the range is too close he would not use it. To far it's not as effective. It's how they do at checkpoints in Afganistan and it is the safest way to operate a green laser. It's easier to just know the proper operating range than try to guess or spend time getting it right by twisting a dial varying the range into the eyes compromising safety. For that reason Dazer is a BUST and certainely has not much chance to be deployed. That is probably why no country has yet to buy this product. That plus this is a company that has never manufactured, produced anything in 20 years, has no cash on hand, is a pink sheet stock, has a very poor credit rating and the CEO represents himself as desperate and full of sh*t.
