abh3vt:

Or, maybe the earnings are going to be great and they expect a run-up. Maybe they are thinking that ASPN WILL get ahead of itself. We'll know pretty soon.

Good point, ABH3VT, as all ASPN info is not bullish. Could be that their costs of drilling may be putting negative pressure on earnings for current qtr. Particularly it may be that lease rates for the drilling rigs will eat a chunk of their earnings during drilling season.

abh3vt: ASPN earnings should be decent, but 'years of reserves' may be somewhat disappointing, especially since recent drilling successes occurred after the end of their 6/30 fiscal year. Production is way up from a year ago, but if reserves are relatively flat, then the life of the reserves at current production rates will be rather modest. As of 6/30/04 they had about 8 years of reserves based on fiscal 2004 production levels. It will be interesting to see the new figure based on 2005 reserves and production levels ....

As I posted earlier, q4 will not be anything special. Should be similar to q3 and that may not sit well with market. Improved results from 2006 drilling program won't start until q1 ending 9/30/05. Even q1 won't have all six new wells on production since they just hit most of them. Could be ahead of itself temporarily but I am going to hold. Winter is coming and so are more hurricanes. Bobwins
