I haven't really done much research on the topic , but I did once read an article that said that one should rest the eyes from the computer for at least 15 minutes after 50 minutes of use - and I have also read that an antiglare sheet to fit over the screen could be helpful too.


The yams/squash in one's daily diet is just my own observation.

Here is a link to an article that says that heavy usage of a computer - especially by near-sighted users - could lead to glaucoma.
