It might not be crazy from the seller's perspective. We have no way of knowing why they need the money.
What I find more significant from today's trading is that this hair-fire emergency selling has been met by healthy amounts of buying... When a seller is unloading a large position in a hurry, they have to lower the ask to a price at which they can get volume. That volume then clears out the selling and establishes the basis for a strong move up. Somebody is going to make a killing on the shares bought today.
The only possibility other than a distressed sale is that ATDF is a big player attempting to manipulate CHRI's price down to shake loose shares. To me it just doesn't feel like that. Nor does that strategy seem to be working.
