The legal system is fundamentally flawed. That doesn't mean that a given judge or given lawyer who is working in a flawed system, is personally responsible for the system being totally broke.

I explained the rationale the court used.

The decision was made.

That's how the courts work.

And I'm moving on. I remain as frustrated as the next person, but I am still able to listen to the rationale given by the court, and their justification for their decision -- and weighing heavily on it is that there were no objections from the key parties:

1) Debtors
2) Equity Committee
3) US Trustee

And the court could not ignore that. Well, we would have LIKED for her to ignore it. But the "Settlement" had everybody in agreement otherwise.
