My theory is that it's obviously staggered intentionally. The more staggered they are, the slower rush to buy shares, the slower rush to buy, the less of their shares they have to sell to slow it down, they can hold those extra shares for later, and a higher pps. It would allow them to flash even bigger bid support and control the action longer than usual. Just my take on it.
