Your method could work some times, but most of the times if there is a true bear raid you would not be quick enough to reenter prior to pps increase. The other matter is that all the stop loss triggers further fuel price drop and cause weak hands to panic. Also, MM's can see these stop loss orders which offer incentive for them to get cheap shares.
