I guess people see the shine of the beveled edge and that makes them think it's LQMT. It's machined, and then polished aluminum or stainless steel.

Well, for one, the machined band does not provide protection to the glass which sticks out beyond the band.

This is a major consideration when it comes to droppage.
And the phone below is thicker than the one shown above.

Couldn't you at least show the two phones with the same view.

I can see grains in the metal in the bottom photo and do not see any on the top photo ;)

It's all subjective until October ;)
