#11574 RE: kas11 #11572

Unfortunately it is the norm. I have worked in the environmental arena for 35 years now, in one of the most environmentally regulated industries in the world. I have few friends or relatives that have any clue what goes on in our industry.

First off, probably 60% of the US population thinks the CO2 GHG issue is a fraud, or not man made, or something we have no control over.

50% of the remaining people are simply too illiterate in science and technology to ever understand it. That leaves a 20% audience. The remaining 20% has about .1% that works somewhere on the fringes of the field, that might get it, if you had their undivided attention for 1-2 eight hour days.

80% of them have no cash to invest. That leaves .01% as a target audience, and most of them would be a select audience of engineers, scientists and politicians, and many of them are invested in (or their jobs depend on) Oil and Gas, Coal, and the technologies that use them, or are invested job wise or cash or both, in burying CO2 underground, or in researching the problem to death.

Of the few that are literate enough to some day get the big picture, most of them do not realize what a disaster burying CO2 can become which has until just recently been 98% of the plan for what to do once we capture the CO2.

Coal, solar and wind power are in a life and death struggle to survive, thanks to cheap natural gas, so their interest is muted at best.

What they do get is Apple I-phones and Tablets, and Amazon where they shop or make calls or browse the world daily! And they are making profits.

That said, the time to buy Apple and Amazon was 15-18 years ago when no one got them! LOL

Now it is time to buy MVTG!
