Sure, Google may make an offer but me considering it a possibility, which I do, is exactly what you're doing except you think it more likely than I do. Doesn't make either of us right or wrong.

I agree that I should have been clearer on one point in that (when I mentioned the loss of the case) I was referring to a company other than Google buying them out (on the hope that they could take the plaintiff's position). That aside, I think it's more likely that Google would buy them out than another company buying them, but I still don't think it's likely before trial day one. It makes much more sense to see how the case is going before making a buyout offer or a settlement.

IMO There is a good chance that all of the companies involved in the patent infringement case will make a joint buyout of vringo before the case goes to trial. The big question how much are they willing to pay per share and how much do the big shareholders want $10 $15 $20 dollars case closed everybody goes home happy.
