Yep, imo, I believe we've hit the wall as far as anyone hearing anything directly from mgmt, now that things are truly in the works and getting close to completion. Whatever those things might be.
Up until the merger PR, I'd exchanged several very cordial emails, after a rather rocky start:), with Dr. Newman. But the last one I sent was the first to go unanswered, which was roughly around the time of that PR.
That said, can you say quiet period? I knew you could.:) Which is as it should be, lest any wind up with their neck, singularly or collectively, in a litigious noose. For how long it took to wrap things up, why upset the apple cart now?
Fwiw, I look at it this way. Relatively small mergers don't take as long as this one did to finalize. So, imo, there was/is a lot more going on behind the scene than just that alone. If so, I'd imagine dealing with foreign entities takes much longer to negotiate than would otherwise be necessary. So until such is/are done, what could mgmt possibly have to say that hasn't already been said?
