Yes sir. All that matters is market cap...and earnings expectations.

Right now MMXT and SCMI have teeny tiny market caps relative to earnings potential. IMO

Number of shares outstanding is very important.

a) There are funds out there that do buy Pinks, but will not buy a stock under a $1 some under $5.
b) Think about if we had 5% of the shares outstanding (35 M). when the stock will move it will move by larger Dollars, which creates even greater momentum. Look at ITWO
c) You mentioned SUN (SUNW) that have large market caps, (and NT, LU) these companies do have too many shares ane because of that, these stocks don't move
d) By simply being over a dollar you are more respected. Period.
e) Buying back shares sends a good signal to the market. Or so said my Finance Proff many years back.
f) Finally, by not growing from 300 M shares to 700 M shares as I saw over the past 3 years, tells investors we are not strong enough to support ourselves and we will continue to borrow from stock holder rather then mixing with borrowed debt
and or bank credit lines.

Although percentages may not change, managing the number of shares is important...
You seriously don't believe we can be over a dollar/share with 700 M shares??? Come on...
