The action in the background is good when it does not distract from the message.....Your eye is going to move to the action and then your brain leaves the message being said.....the reason it is out of focus is to cut down the distraction...
Overall I give both of the clips a B+....but how often do you see a floating camera unless it is in the middle of a car chase...or hand to hand combat.
the one with Lauren is well planned....notice how it starts with her action of turning into the camera while moving forward a bit.....
