I've been where you are. Derek, who is a great trader and has been a mentor to me, first met me by coming to a stock I was holding a bag in. He was a flipper and I viewed that as a bad thing. I had been taught LONG and STRONG, as if there was some nobility in riding a stock down to deep red.
Derek said things I didn't like....because they were true. I thought they would effect the stock but the reality is, what was effecting the stock was the company. Diluting, not following through, not communicating etc. It wasn't Derek it was me. I should have cut my losses but I was waiting on the BIG PR.
Well now that I have moved on and have some perspective, I see Derek is right. His philosophies have helped me make all my losses back and then some. I couldn't see the first through the trees bro.
