lostcowboy: I agree that I need a professional at this point. I'm frustrated because the one CD I misplace was the restore CD. I think it's still packaged up with my Win 98 manual, which I misplace when I moved. I wonder if I can get a new one from HP. I do have a CD writer and have restored functionality enough to be able to back up all of my data.
