That has always been a disconcerting question IMO regarding Phase I drilling as it seems they did not drill deep enough according to some well experienced oil people yet we have been told by mgt that there was no need to drill deeper as they could tell by the shallow drilling that nothing was to be gained by going deeper.
I think most on this board believe there is a good possibility that our fortunes lie far below the levels Phase I drilled. Whether that is reality or wishful thinking remains to be seen. I sure hope Phase I operators were sorely amiss in drilling too shallow and we do find something of value further below. This is what my friend at the AGM thought happened - he was an experienced driller for Exxon/Mobil and I am crossing my fingers he is right.
Looks like we may be on cruise control til Sept/Oct according to some to hear anything detailed about current Blk1 drilling so will try and let the investment ride without following it too closely for the next 3 months. Have a trip to Eur. coming in Sept so will start keeping close tabs again after that trip.
