When you read a public post, the default for the SEARCH function at the bottom, center of the post is different than the default in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Is there a reason why they are different or can I set them to be the same?

Thought this was the Q&A board about the Hub?

The focus of this board is to discuss issues related to the site, such as rules, feature requests, TOU, etc.

Okay, I see I'm on topic, yet my request for an answer keeps getting ignored.

I thought Lentinman had some excellent comments about the situation.
It is a great topic to discuss imo.

Been wondering about this for a while.

What the reasoning is behind these actions?
I've seen this happen with quite a few posters.
So no I'm not singling anyone out.

What is the difference between some on the hub jumping all over a poster for one post, about one stock, on 4 or 5 boards posting once, compared to one poster with 40 or more posts about one stock on the same board?

Does not both posters want success for their trade?

Is not both posters excited about the potential?

Yet, I see others jump all over the one with only 4 to 5 posts.

Maybe I'm missing something I don't know.

Doesn't add up to me.

Here is what doesn't add up in my perspective............

When those 40 posts or more are all on a board that gets a lot of traffic.

I don't see how the other person should be taken to task with only 4 posts.

In marketing the key is to repeat it often.

Yes, more different people may see the 4 posts on different boards.

But the other poster posts are being read over and over.

Key to marketing. Repeat.

Thus the one with 10 times more posts on one board would be creating more buying excitement.

So why isn't these types of individuals taken to task also?

Thoughts Matt?
