Jason Dussault has been creating and marketing his creations all his life, culminating in the formation of Dussault Apparel where he designs high end streetwear for both men and women that is distinctively edgy, eminently wearable, and in demand.
Often referred to as "The Hoodie King," Jason is best known for his custom and limited edition hoodies featuring his own artwork and graphic design, distinctive silhouettes, and surprisingly sumptuous linings.
Originally building his business one hoodie at a time from his unique show room/design studio/assembly shop in Vancouver's Gastown, Jason initiated his out-of-the-box and in-your-face marketing style by locking his doors and insisting clientele make appointments for private shopping sessions, which was then un-heard of in Vancouver - let alone with a new designer. Then when clientele arrived for their appointment they had to deposit a dollar coin in order for the door to open! But once inside they were treated to a uniquely themed showroom environment that was an experience in itself.
Jason continued to build his brand on the strength of his designs, and by presenting his apparel in both off-beat and a-traditional fashion shows, distinctive and award-winning display booths at major apparel showcases, and unique character showrooms in the United States that he designed and built himself.
He expanded his design lines to include Gene Simmons MoneyBag, Vanity, and DEUCE Custom Ink, in addition to Dussault Apparel. As well he gave his fans denim, T's, ball caps and more.
Jason designed the world¹s most expensive denim jeans which went for auction at $250,000.00; created eye-popping designs for two Indy Cars; a graphic set for Flow Snowboards; plus one of the key merchandising logos and a line of apparel sold at Criss Angel's Believe Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas.
Even as the Company and his designing activity grows, Jason continues to do custom designs for clients who have included The Black Eyed Peas, Gene Simmons, Criss Angel, Pamela Anderson, Nickelback, Dee Snider, Kat Von D, Flo Rida, and Todd McFarlane. Jason has also begun accepting commissions to do original pieces of art. His most recent commission was for a set of three paintings valued at thirty thousand dollars each.
The marketing methods Jason has used to propel his designs have been documented in a recent college level marketing text, and Jason has begun lecturing on his marketing methods to colleges, universities and business groups.
His marketing style and bold design work have garnered him significant media attention including interviews and appearances on FOX; EXTRA; Entertainment Tonight; CityTV; ETalk on CTV; Urban Rush on SHAW TV; CBC; MTV; TMZ; The Wall Street Journal; New York Times; plus recurring appearances on Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and several episodes of Criss Angel's Mindfreak.
Jason is now starring in his own reality series along with his partner Mashiah Vaughn and their children. The show is an upbeat, intense chronicling of the jarring juxtapositions between Jason and Mashiah's family life and the rock and roll world of fashion - and the lengths Jason and Mashiah have to go to keep it all together. The show is currently in production and is being produced by Paperny Films for Rogers Media.

DUSS CEO partner, Model and Actress MASHIAH VAUGHN
As founder and president of Open Sundaes, Mashiah Vaughn is a multi-tasking visionary with a personal 'hands on' approach. She has built her bath product business, along with a successfulmodeling and acting career, and now uses her resources to help women and children throughout the world by promoting female role models who inspire women to be their best. Working as a model since the age of twelve, Mashiah's resumé includes Victoria's Secret, Club Monaco, The Gap, Ralph Lauren, Polo, FCUK, and Flare Magazine. She has also taught modeling, managed fashion shows, and scouted and cast models and actors.

Her TV credits include "Supernatural," "Six Feet Under," "Stargate," "The Chris Isaak Show," "Jeremiah," "Dark Angel," and "Smallville." Over the years, Mashiah's modeling and acting career involved a great deal of travel. While on the road, her favorite way to wind down was with a fragrant bath bomb. This is where the seed of her bath and body products company Open Sundaes germinated. As a working parent, she appreciated the struggles women encounter and recognized that pampering oneself is important for peace of mind and soul. She combined the idea of creating bath and body products with her love of desserts - but not the calories - and launched Open Sundaes in February 2005. Mashiah has always participated in projects that benefit the community. She has supported Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Sage Women's Shelter, The Vancouver Food Bank, The VancouverChristmas Bureau Toy Drive, Boost for Kids, Vancouver Children's Hospital, and Vancouver Women's Hospital. Next spring she launches her first in of a series of children's books that she penned and illustrated herself.A mother at seventeen, Mashiah learned at an early age to manage a career and family responsibilities.
