And it turns out that Iraq is +/-5 #53 imports; #38 exports on France's BoP.

Frankly, I hate myself for defending France (collaberating chaps they are), but this is not an economic based decision by them.

Other then what we've seen and read publicly, what in your opinion is/are the real reason(s) the administration has such public will to go into Iraq? Sorry if I have missed it...I really don't want to sift through 5k posts either. If that one stock were $10.30 lower, however, I could search for it. <gg>

Are we going to go after every despot that lacks respect for human life? Where do we stop?

Good point. My feeling is that under certain extreme situations we have to shut down the most evil and threatening leaders and that by doing that others are encouraged to stay in check. When and where we draw that line and whether Iraq falls into that category today can certainly be debated.
