SARA: Looking for opinions. Is the sale a positive or negative for the outside shareholders?
On the one hand, the size of the sale is so very very large compared to the float and the outstanding shares.
A positive would be the float increases. (This is a thinly-traded stock now.) Negative is -- why are insiders essentially bailing now? Also to place so many shares on the market (at once, I assume) wouldn't that mean the sale price would be below the current (pre-announcement) price -- as is so for so many of these share offerings. If so, I would have expected the stock to drop on the news. It has not though. Maybe it will yet, if or when the sale price is announced.
In any case, I'm reducing my position now.
Any opinions/suggestions as regards this stock and the upcoming sale?
