There is no need for a pr every month, I agree. However, there are many reasons why there could be one. They missed the deadline on the new board. Did I tell them to set a deadline, no. Did they set a deadline, yes. That means that they should tell us why they did not meet their own deadline.
Does a new product constitute a pr, no. Do most companies have a pr when they release new products, yes.
They told us they were putting products into 9000 new stores. I have seen the product in 2 different Pittsburgh Dick's Sporting Goods. Do they have to give a pr when they enter new locations, no. Would it be nice for them to tell us where they were putting the products that we have all invested in, yes.
They have been taken off the list of NSF and IC certified products. I don't really care about that certification, but it would be nice to know whether they were taken off for failing or because they felt it was not necessary to be certified.
I understand your reasoning for saying that PR's are not necessary especially if you are a fan of the efficient market theory (the stock price will reach its intended price in due time no matter what, for those of us who don't know), but it would simply be polite for them to send out a PR or two to help calm the nerves of many of the investors. I don't see it as necessary, just respectful in these times of high uncertainty.
Hope this makes sense
