Or, Apple may have perfected it and is in production. The extension may be only a buffer to keep other companies from using the technology for a year after the release of a new product. Apple wouldn't give up the license at the same time their product is released. Keep 2nd place back a bit.
I tend to feel the release of a product is coming soon. With Visser onboard, parts may be sent his way. Producing more parts in the USA would be good PR for Apple and ultimately good for LQMT.

Frank, that's why I am really looking for the aerospace customers that have apparently been associated with LQMT before in the past, ordered "prototypes" (please, oh please, be clear next time Mr. Steipp!) anddddd...will we see orders after Q3 and 4 as mgmt has indicated?

I think Visser is here more for the Apple association and doing it now so the transaction gets "old and cold" in that he's not dealing in any information that was "inside," which is a VERY relative term, particularly when you are a major stockholder and SOLE supplier with all non-CE rights in CIP.

Windows Surface tablet is not coming out until the fall. There isn't even any real pricing to look at. My recollection is Mac releases new innovations in the spring. I would think they would wait to see if surface is even close to the hype or if its DOA. If Apple innovates before the release of surface, then they may loose an advantage.
