i'm leaving mine in myself. whatever profit you have in it thursday at close, you will still have friday morn, you'll just have a lot more shares at a cheaper price.
you won't get the forward split as it takes 3 days to acknowledge your position as shareholder of record. You would have to be a shareholder of record on the date as described....
you could lock in your profits but you might be buying single shares with those profits anyway.
