A couple more days? They already left the stock alone for weeks prior to this dilution. This stock did not have that upward momentum to hit the golden cross. It leveled off in a single days time before they even started to dilute, and wasn't showing a rise that lasted longer than an hour or two after that for the following day. The support for continued pps growth wasn't as strong as you are implying.
And considering the fact that they left it alone as long as they did, their dilution now clearly shows the funds are necessary.
