Betcha it exceeds 500 billion total cost... maybe even 1 trillion... cleanup and reconstruction, new levees, relocation of city parts, spoiled harvest and dumped milk, increased energy costs, lost productivity, yada yada and $$$ yada.

Yea... 1 trillion seems like a reasonable price for not being prepared for this oft predicted catastrophe. We could've had it for less than a couple hundred million if we had bought the levee repairs last year. Talk about inflation! Lordie, lordie!
