Did you even read the full article? Even the article itself clearly states "the first order influence is zero."

If you want to take into account the density difference between salt water vs. fresh water, the additional amount of water that would be suspended in the air as water vapor and cloud due to elevated temperature would be more (i.e. leaving less water in the oceans) than what you are talking about.

I have noticed for a long time that people with real science and engineering background are not easily fooled by Anthropogenic Global Warming Theory. Most people with a modicum of scientific/engineering background can easily see through the order of magnitude problem with AGW. Of course, if the government / neo-religion throws enough money at it, there would be enough academic prostitutes selling themselves for funding, just like in the middle ages when there was a state religion funding peer-reviewed research into how many angels could dance at the tip of a pin.

In any case, back to the point of contention: stop thinking of sea level rising primarily as result of ice melting; the main contributor would actually be thermo expansion of the sea water itself. So if you buy into the parabolic rising, or even linear rising, function of time, you'd run smack into the improbable future of water washing over all of earth's surface at a not too distant future. Welcome to Kevin Costner's Water World. What a bust. LOL.
