#702903 RE: brightness #702899

I read the full article and if you recall, it was your "strawman" involving "sea ice" having no effect (nothing about first order, etc) and the article clearly points out that your statement was false. So even when you stear a subject your own way, you still end up being full of chit.
Of course none of this "sea ice" has much to do with overall concept of sea level rise, or humor for that matter. However not having much to do is not the same thing as having nothing to do with it (sea level rise).
And by the way, your claiming that thermo expansion is main contributor to sea level rise does not make it so, as that is a function of time. Eventually, as the "land" ice melt becomes less significant due to less mass, etc. the thermal expansion becomes the greater contributor.
It's not important whether or not I buy into "sea level rising", only that the NC legislation appears to limit the measuring of this "rise" to "linear" as opposed to some other form of regression analysis.
As to water washing over all of earth's surface at a not too distant future (whatever that means), NC's perceived problems would occur much sooner (depending on your somewhat vague not too distant future). So...............you, as usual, have attempted to inundate us with bullchit that is also void of humor, IMO. Loved the references to government/neo-religion, academic prostitutes, middle ages, state religion funding peer-reviewed research and angels dancing on a pin. Heheh.
