#12682 RE: Seasound #12681

The Sierra Club is having some success in the Northeast
and are one of the groups sending carpetbagger "experts"
in to hold so-called "informational meetings" or offer
"speakers" at town(ship) and village board meetings in
order to "educate" board members as to the horrors that
will befall them is gas drilling is allowed. The trend is to
show the movie "Gasland" and after handing out flyers,
request pledges and donations to "defray" the expenses
of bringing these revelations to us. The first two towns
that went along have been sued by landowners. Adding
legal expenses to property and school taxes and the good
chance Obama or the next guy will let the Bush Tax Cuts
expire will be the perfect storm for farmers. The EPA just
about killed coal, but the Sierra Club action will insure that
it remains 50% of the energy mix. And it will be the sulphur
filled soft coal that gets used as it is cheaper than mined
coal. NYS gets the same sunlight as London and wind is
unreliable, but gas is bad, and they want to spend 30 million
to lobby against it. Capstone Turbines can run on gasified
coal, just takes one more energy wasting step.

seasound, very well put and I agree 100% with what you say. I too am heavily invested in this company and seem to be waiting an eternity for results.
