with NG<$3/MBTU the anti-fracking crowd is getting their wish. Drilling is drying up very rapidly.

It seems like a lot of next generation ethanol is under construction.

DSM/POET plan to have well over 26 plants of cellulosic bio-ethanol after the prototype plant is done at the end of next year. The way plants grow in tropical climates I would think cellulosic plants there make sense. I think a big battle in th government will be shaping up between oil companies and ethanol companies in the coming years. I don't know if ethanol can fill the void in fracking energy if the environmental wackos get fracking shut down.
