Katrina was part I of the "Oil Storm" TV movie. Part II was OBL attack on Saudi Oil. Part III was diversion of oil being sent to America by Russia to China (who offered to pay more). It was nasty... the only difference was that "Katrina" hit Houston... causing similar massive oil disruption.
Well, let's just hope "real" action is taken. The government has chosen to ignore the fact that our reliance on oil can have significant impact on our economy and way of life. Back in the 70's they had their first wake up call and everyone came out of the woodwork to preach alternative fuels. Those with oil ($$) agendas obviously padded the right pockets and made it go away. This is the second time.
Think about it, the countries/region with the vast majority of our enemies has the power to cripple our economy. You want to talk about a terror attack!!
It's long past time for a change. The technologies have been there. The government needs to force the change!!
