I see vert, puma, vfin but I dont see pert a whole lot..

yes they are on a lot of pennys.

yeah PERT is def a somewhat common MM. the thing i have noticed about PERT specifically on this stock though is its activity. it buys up aggressively and then will slap down. it is always buying and selling... but buying a lot more than selling.

the best way i can think of to describe it.... is the inverse of an MM that is diluting.

ok but what if I told you ATRN was raisin equity through an investment bank to possibly buy the rest of the OS, then would it seem more plausible?
