OT - Jaybeaux, rest assured that some of us are helping with donations even though we may not discuss it here. I have some good friends from the New Orleans - Baton Rouge area and would do anything I could. About all we can do right now though is send donations because only aid agencies are equipped to enter the area.

Best wishes and Godspeed to you and your family.

Jay...FWIW...Despite numerous attempts to reach the Red Cross - both online and by phone - I've so far been unable to get through.

The bad news...They don't have my/our contribution yet.

The good news...There are obviously a HORDE of contributors ahead of us. (I suspect there are more than a few Wavoids among them)...

Heartfelt best wishes for ALL of our American cousins down there...

Jaybeaux
I understand your frustration and concern. I represent a group of well to do investors that have contributed to the rescue/relief effort in a LARGE way. I did not feel it appropriate to post, until I read your post. We have not only given cash...some in our group own jets. I flew in on one earlier today that is loaded with water and ready to fly. The problem is there is no infrastructure to allow landings at public or private airports. Our people do not post on the board, as they are technically challenged. However, just because we do not burn bandwidth, never doubt our resolve, when help is needed.
Have faith.
Sincerely,

Jaybeaux--Sadly, you are absolutely correct. You wrote:
