I've filed acomplaint with the SEC attn: April Keyes: The text as follows:
Hello. I bought xxxxxxx shares through Ameritrade as follows delineated below. Yesterday before the market open I entered a sell order for xxxxxx shares, which Ameritrade cancelled at 9:48AM without notifying me. In phone calls with them, including with a manager, Kevin Logan, I was told that DTC stopped trading, but the truth is that the stock continued to trade and no other brokerage firm refused to allow sells on the stock yesterday. Today one other firm stopped Sells on the stock: Scottrade. But all other firms continued trading. I was able to buy and sell shares at another of my brokerage firms but couldn't access my Ameritrade shares. I tried many times to enter sell orders today and yesterday, too, and all orders were rejected by the system or by phone brokers.
The stock price was up to .053 yesterday but after Ameritrade's action the stock dropped considerably and today kept dropping, hitting as low as .017. I believe they harmed the stock price by their action and also that I should be free to sell my shares.
I'm requesting an investigation of their harming the stock price and also of Ameritrade's unilateral action to stop all trading on this stock. I'm requesting they be required to free my shares to allow me to sell them if and when I wish.
Thanks for your help with this. My trade history of this stock at Ameritrade is listed below:
