OT LEN: I don't even like fruitcake. Walmart has nothing that I want or need.

I prefer small mom & pop stores. That is the backbone of our country. Walmart is nothing more than a sales agent for everything made cheap from China. When the day comes that all we are made up of is Superstores, then I want out!

Remember I just got here, Walmart is 12 miles from me. And it would be nice if it stayed that way. ((OTCBargins - Fred Meyer is the other store you refer to and the prices are hardly double Walmart))

I can walk to a local market and get what I need. I don't have to fill up the gas tank and could easily survive without a car if I wanted to.

The real point is, I would not buy WMT
