That may be the case and you and ray are probably right but I don't think the NC people would have any spider silk produced by silkworms to actually ask the Textile Technology Center to weave with their specialty equipment. Who would have spider / silkworm silk that they may need samples made from? I am not saying it is absolutely so but KBLB is my best guess. Just keeping an open mind to the possibility and not "believing everything I read".
