Hi KingB,

The entogenetics/NCState folks had/have some silk spun by transgenic worms, it is just no d__n good. They had big dreams and a fancy web page but they could not get the spider genes to express properly in the silkworm, so their silk was only marginally better than standard Bombyx Mori silk.
