Strac, Firstly, thank you for your service to the country. Also with your military background explanations are not required. About what other people think: it is none of my business. About priorities: it is not War, Politics, Arms. It is Arms, Politics, War.

strac,
Anyone dumb enough to take shots wearing their plate several times is a real genius with a screw loose or desperate! Kryron plates absorb the energy & heat & spread it out. I seriously doubt you have ever shot or even held a Kryron plate I have done both shooting a total of 23 rounds. I have seen the Point Blank ceramic plates shot with a lot of back deformation plain & simple.

First of all, Ceradyne has not proven itself to be a superior product just because it has been used in the theater. Mr. Bourque has reported that his armour is being used in the field. It is absurd to suggest that someone wear a vest to prove how good it is. It is what it is and there is visual evidence to prove it. Crying for a real life example is simply begging the question. Ceradyne is known to break down after taking a few rounds where Kryron does not. Finally, the way your post is written would clearly hint that you are probably heavily invested in Ceradyne as it is sold on the exchange. Soon, it should and will be displaced by kryron, in my opinion.
