That's what I recall. Wasn't one of the problems with that venture that the metal screens used in the walls of the buildings to hold the plaster together wouldn't let the wireless signals in/out?

To add to the painful memories, I actually bought a Magicphone box and subscribed to VozBrazil to kick the tires. Ouch!
