I hope the 3M product doesn't have any problems. Right now new customers see both 3M and CPTC products as "composite". If something negative were to happen to the 3M product in these early stages that would probably hinder the acceptance of CPTC's ACCC product to. So I wish 3M well. There is enough business out there for both 3M & CPTC.

Right in CTC's backyard...

MMM trounces us again...How sad...

California should've been CTC's territory...I'm sure you are right beigledog, that they've been testing a lot longer than us, and our testing is going very well, but we are way behind...

It's starting to look like the BIG dog will have a big advantage with domestic sales, especially as long as we have the Q...

It also appears that MMM's product is not as inferior as been discussed on the RB Board...that's becoming pretty obvious...

ACCC may actually be a better product, but with all the problems CTC is going through, MMM has the advantage here...

It's sad we got a pretty decent PR today, and ended the day down .04, with half the ten day average volume...and we broke below 1.95, which does not bode well for the short term charts...

Good Luck To ALL ;^)

beigledog - How come they don't give the name of the 2nd utility in the PR?
"Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and a second utility in Southern California have installed 3M's Aluminum Conductor Composite Reinforced (ACCR) on short line segments near substations in Santa Clara and Oceanside (just north of San Diego), respectively.
