More and more foods and beverages sweetened with stevia are being launched globally. In fact, from
January through July 2011, there has been a 15% increase in new foods and beverages launched
worldwide in comparison to the same time period in 2010. And almost half of the foods and
beverages containing high purity stevia launched this year have been in the United States, with Japan,
France, Brazil and Chile rounding out the top five countries based on the percentage of items
launched globally.
