FFF, short interest does not reflect the number of shares shorted over a period of time, or total aggregate short volume. You are not uneducated why do you persist with this?
It only shows uncovered short positions, point in time. Period. It is a sentiment indicator.
Short volume and short interest are two different things. You know this.
FYI i can short sell ecdc from my phone if I want. The limiting factor is if etrade will accept the order and can satisfy the locate requirement.
And of course the risk associated with shorting a sub penny. IMHO the risk is equal to going long in a sub penny... Neither are for the feint of heart.
