While I have been slowly buying metals here, I would caution traders to be wary of a quick move upward. The price channel has been downward for exactly a year now as silver settles into a more normalized relationship with gold. I suspect the rest of the year could be a time of accumulation for investors and consolidation in the market without the expectation of profit for another year or two after that. I would not be surprised to see a new leg down on any bad news, speculators get twitchy after a year of negative price movement.
